31 Jul 2024 Itinera at the “1st Lyon Turin Engagement Forum | Paris 2024”
The new TELT (Tunnel Euralpin Lyon Turin) railway line project is one of the largest infrastructure works in Europe, being part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) that supports the EU Single Market and the journeys of millions of citizens every day.
TELT, paying the highest attention to the observance of technical and green best-practices in the construction of transport infrastructure, requires its partners to comply with the Integrity and Sustainability Pact, included in the Code of Ethics. To take this understanding to a truly effective level, TELT organized the Turin-Lyon Business Forum to share social responsibility initiatives that can create, starting from construction sites, real added value for people and territories.
The first meeting of the Forum took place on 30 July 2024 in Paris, at “Casa Italia” in the setting of the ongoing Olympics. The main players in the project presented their activities and plans aimed at valuing people, occupational safety, climate transition, cultural and economic enhancement of the areas involved, ethics and anti-corruption.
Giuliano Colli, Sustainability Manager, was the voice of Itinera at this important event that brought together the leading construction companies in Europe, united by their responsibility for the environment and society.
