17 Oct 2024 Itinera joins UN Global Compact
This year, Itinera becomes part of the United Nations Global Compact, an international initiative that encourages companies to adopt sustainable and responsible policies. Currently, more than 20,000 companies from 160 countries are supporting an inclusive and sustainable economy, giving life to this global partnership.
By participating in the Global Compact, Itinera is committed to integrating the ten core principles of human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption into its strategy, as well as promoting collaborative projects in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In line with Itinera’s approach to sustainability, addressed with great commitment and accountability of results, Itinera aims to consolidate its relational capital through concrete behaviour and tangible results, implementing measurable and meaningful actions. In this perspective, the company will report annually on progress against the SDGs according to the COP (Communication on Progress) policy and will conduct specific training on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues.
