Turin-Lyon railway line: visit of French prime minister

On May 14, the CO08 construction site of the Turin-Lyon line welcomed French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, accompanied by Christophe Béchu, Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, and Marina Ferrari, Secretary of State for Digital Technologies.

The visit was an important opportunity to highlight the progress that has been made, directly showing the progress of the work, as well as the advanced construction techniques and ecological solutions adopted in this strategic infrastructure project.

Awarded in 2021 to the IMPLENIA (group leader), ITINERA, NGE and RIZZANI DE ECCHER grouping, Lot 3 of the CO08 construction site involves the construction of the twin-bore railway tunnel, with a total development of 5,678 m.

TELT (Tunnel Euralpin Lyon Turin), a new rail line for freight and passengers and future key node of the Mediterranean corridor, is also a symbol of international collaboration and sustainable development, set to significantly improve connections between Italy and France and promote more efficient and sustainable mobility.
